“I found Lizzie at a wedding show. I fell in love with her dresses the moment I saw them. Talking to Lizzie made me want her dresses even more. She has exceptional talent and is so kind and caring to work with on your special dress. Given that I am a horrendous shopper and like most women don’t really say positive things when I see myself in the mirror. However Lizzie bought out that inner princess and made me believe in myself – and the dress made it all happen. The tiny details she made on the dress gave it such a personal finish. I would recommend her to anyone and even managed to get my big sister to finally copy me and get Lizzie to make her wedding dress for next year. Xx”

Well what can I say about this beautiful lady? Cath Kidston loving, cycle Queen that she is. I first met Rebecca, her Mum and Sister (who I am so excited to be also designing a wedding dress for) at Osmaston park Giant Wedding fayre. I just happened to have my favourite dress “Gracie Rose” on a mannequin and I think it was love at first sight for Rebecca too!

Over the next few months, litres of tea and lots of giggles we created her perfect wedding dress, and with the wonderful accompaniment of a hand beaded crystal sash from our amazing supplier Sash and Veil and a full length veil, her look was complete.

I was extremely lucky to be invited to Rebecca and Ben’s Wedding day and had one of the most wonderful and enjoyable experience of my life. It was clear from when I arrived to dress Rebecca on the morning of the wedding just how much her family loved her and she them. The morning, ceremony and reception ran so smoothly and all the little touches Rebecca had organised, just reflected her and Ben’s personality and relationship so well. I especially loved the tandem bike dressed in wonderful flowers which was used on their French honeymoon.

My feet are still sore from all the dancing! xXx

“She is extremely talented young lady who helped me remain calm throughout the whole
process. She was knowledgeable without being overbearing. Her designs were exactly what I
was looking for. She was flexible and caring with the right advise.”

“Elizabeth is one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. Her ideas and designs are amazing. Lizzie designed a wedding dress which I wouldn’t normally have chosen for my figure but the finishing product made me feel like a princess & I’m so much more confident in myself since she’s shown me I can wear close fitting dresses. Thanks again for all your hard work making my dress & being there on my special day.” Katie Gadsby (Shaw)

“I visited Lizzie and was desperate as I just couldn’t find what I had in mind anywhere else, she was calm & patient, sat me down with a cup of tea & talked to me and asked what I was looking for , she sketched the exact thing I had in mind, she was amazing and gave me extra ideas, my dress was amazing and the amount of comments I’ve had on the uniqueness of my dress is amazing. The photographs just didn’t do it justice. I cannot praise Her enough about her dedication and patience, she’s lovely.”

“From the moment my mum and I walked through the door to Lizzie’s shop we were transported to a magical world and the feeling never faded with each visit. Lizzie went above and beyond, making not only my dress, but my mother’s and the men’s ties. Her work is exquisite and I couldn’t have been happier with my dream wedding dress, but above all, my lasting memory of Lizzie was our wonderful visits where she made you feel truly special and at ease which really was priceless during wedding preparations. After visiting a range of different dress shops and feeling slightly worried that I wouldn’t find “my dress”, I walked in to Lizzie’s and would have happily got married in any of her masterpieces. The first dress I tried on reduced myself and my mum to tears and that’s the dress I ended up getting married in. If I was to do the whole experience again, I wouldn’t change any of it. After visiting a range of different dress shops and feeling slightly worried that I wouldn’t find “my dress”, I walked in to Lizzie’s and would have happily got married in any of her masterpieces.
