This stunning gown is made from one of our all-time favourite fabrics, a beautiful light silk Habotai. With its off-the-shoulder neckline and that gorgeous ruched bodice, this gown has a timeless and classical feel. Layers of Habotai, chiffon and organza gives the skirt volume and glorious movement. And of course, this dress has one of our signature corsets hidden away inside. Giving you full support, structure and defining that waist.
***Exciting news: We have been featured in Brides magazine!***
This is a huge achievement for us, Brides magazine is the leading UK bridal magazine and it really does mean a lot that they approached us for their ‘Marriage A La Mode’ feature. This advertorial feature showcases a hand-picked selection of luxury bridal companies who Condé Nast think are a good fit for the magazine.
Condé Nast BRIDES is the UK’s biggest-selling bridal magazine, it’s been established for over 60 years and they are the leading authority on all things bridal so this really is a huge accolade. Hopefully you guys will pick a copy up to help with planning your wedding and see us in there of course :-)! Hint: We’re number seven in the image below.
“Lizzie did an amazing job with my dress, a beautiful creation of red silk with cream lace
flowers, also adding sparkles and my random crocheted feathers to accommodate my very
last minute request. She even went so far as to deliver it to the hotel when I was tied up
decorating the venue the evening before the wedding. Everyone thought the dress looked
amazing, and I received countless compliments on it. No off the shelf dress would ever have matched my dreams like hers did.”
Gemma and Rob were married at Kedleston Hall and had their reception on the parks grounds in Tipis! Gemma knew exactly what she wanted when she first came the boutique. “A red dress, to reflect my Chinese heritage.” So we set about finding the perfect red, and came across this stunning silk dupion. Hand appliquéd cream French lace adds such a beautiful effect to the dress and I just love the way the lace seems to organically creep up from the hem.

“Elizabeth is friendly, confident and amazingly artistic. She made me feel instantly at ease and helped me design the perfect wedding dress for me. Elizabeth knew what my dress would look like even before I did and her creative skill is beautiful. I was fully part of the process and was able to change my dress design throughout. Her attention to detail and my needs made my dress into a unique masterpiece. Her initiative was phenomenal. I could not have asked for a better dress designer, I love my dress! Elizabeth had been recommended to me by a friend, she is very professional and her work speaks for itself.” Jessica Simpson (Brunt)
Jessica and Mark were married at Shottle Hall in Derbyshire. Jessica wore a bespoke version of our Charlotte design, a porcelain satin bodice and lot of luscious layers of tulle for the skirt. With a delicate French lace Jacket, little cap sleeves and a pretty flower decorated with hand stitched sparkly Swarovski crystals. To finish off this stunning gown we added a beautiful lace trim to the hem of the skirt, the perfect finishing touch.

“I would recommend Lizzie to any bride. I loved the dressmaking process and I felt like I received a very bespoke service. When I was stressed Lizzie make me a cup of tea and be patient and kind. When I was excited, she was excited for me. Lizzie took time and care getting my dress just perfect for me and I had absolute trust in her skills to do so. Lizzie created the most beautiful wedding dress for me and made me feel more amazing than I ever thought possible!”
“Lizzie is an absolute genius! Not only is she one of the loveliest people in the world she also made me the dress of my dreams and the experience of having it made was so special. Thank you so much Lizzie I’ve never felt so wonderful in my life.” Jessica Willison (King)

“I found Lizzie at a wedding show. I fell in love with her dresses the moment I saw them. Talking to Lizzie made me want her dresses even more. She has exceptional talent and is so kind and caring to work with on your special dress. Given that I am a horrendous shopper and like most women don’t really say positive things when I see myself in the mirror. However Lizzie bought out that inner princess and made me believe in myself – and the dress made it all happen. The tiny details she made on the dress gave it such a personal finish. I would recommend her to anyone and even managed to get my big sister to finally copy me and get Lizzie to make her wedding dress for next year. Xx”
Well what can I say about this beautiful lady? Cath Kidston loving, cycle Queen that she is. I first met Rebecca, her Mum and Sister (who I am so excited to be also designing a wedding dress for) at Osmaston park Giant Wedding fayre. I just happened to have my favourite dress “Gracie Rose” on a mannequin and I think it was love at first sight for Rebecca too!
Over the next few months, litres of tea and lots of giggles we created her perfect wedding dress, and with the wonderful accompaniment of a hand beaded crystal sash from our amazing supplier Sash and Veil and a full length veil, her look was complete.
I was extremely lucky to be invited to Rebecca and Ben’s Wedding day and had one of the most wonderful and enjoyable experience of my life. It was clear from when I arrived to dress Rebecca on the morning of the wedding just how much her family loved her and she them. The morning, ceremony and reception ran so smoothly and all the little touches Rebecca had organised, just reflected her and Ben’s personality and relationship so well. I especially loved the tandem bike dressed in wonderful flowers which was used on their French honeymoon.
My feet are still sore from all the dancing! xXx
