“Elizabeth is friendly, confident and amazingly artistic. She made me feel instantly at ease and helped me design the perfect wedding dress for me. Elizabeth knew what my dress would look like even before I did and her creative skill is beautiful. I was fully part of the process and was able to change my dress design throughout. Her attention to detail and my needs made my dress into a unique masterpiece. Her initiative was phenomenal. I could not have asked for a better dress designer, I love my dress! Elizabeth had been recommended to me by a friend, she is very professional and her work speaks for itself.” Jessica Simpson (Brunt)
Jessica and Mark were married at Shottle Hall in Derbyshire. Jessica wore a bespoke version of our Charlotte design, a porcelain satin bodice and lot of luscious layers of tulle for the skirt. With a delicate French lace Jacket, little cap sleeves and a pretty flower decorated with hand stitched sparkly Swarovski crystals. To finish off this stunning gown we added a beautiful lace trim to the hem of the skirt, the perfect finishing touch.

“Elizabeth is one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. Her ideas and designs are amazing. Lizzie designed a wedding dress which I wouldn’t normally have chosen for my figure but the finishing product made me feel like a princess & I’m so much more confident in myself since she’s shown me I can wear close fitting dresses. Thanks again for all your hard work making my dress & being there on my special day.” Katie Gadsby (Shaw)
“From the moment my mum and I walked through the door to Lizzie’s shop we were transported to a magical world and the feeling never faded with each visit. Lizzie went above and beyond, making not only my dress, but my mother’s and the men’s ties. Her work is exquisite and I couldn’t have been happier with my dream wedding dress, but above all, my lasting memory of Lizzie was our wonderful visits where she made you feel truly special and at ease which really was priceless during wedding preparations. After visiting a range of different dress shops and feeling slightly worried that I wouldn’t find “my dress”, I walked in to Lizzie’s and would have happily got married in any of her masterpieces. The first dress I tried on reduced myself and my mum to tears and that’s the dress I ended up getting married in. If I was to do the whole experience again, I wouldn’t change any of it. “This shoot is full to the brim with the most gorgeous rustic and glamorous details, mixed with a classic English country theme. The cake table especially is outstanding as is the overall decoration. I know a lot of you lovely brides to be are just going to LOVE this shoot.” BOHO WEDDINGS
When wedding planners and coordinators Honeysuckle and Castle invited me to be part of a styled photo shoot at one of my favourite wedding venues, The Riding School at Calke Abbey, Derbyshire, how could I say no? Helen from Honeysuckle and Castle had a clear vision of what she wanted to achieve, determined to show the Riding school and its grounds in their full glory, she stayed very close to the true nature of Calke Abbey “The un-stately, stately home”.
“The house, it’s fascinating history and the surrounding Derbyshire countryside were our key inspiration points. We wanted to bring these together so that we could connect the Riding School with the rest of the surrounding estate, whilst demonstrating its rustic opulence and glamour. It was our intention to do this in a natural, almost wild and undressed manner that would complement and coordinate with the colours/tones/themes of the interior of the house and the wild beauty of its parkland.” Honeysuckle and Castle
There were a few pre photo-shoot meetings beforehand to make sure that everyone knew what they needed to bring along on the day. I think we all found this really useful as we could discuss ideas and certain looks we wanted to create. It also meant that we had a plan, so that on the day we were able to get the shoot we wanted in the time allowed. You can’t beat a good bit of organisation!
I am sure you will all agree that the images are simply stunning, I love the gorgeous colour scheme running though out, the lovely props that Helen sourced (the little rocking horse I am very fond of), the flowers, cakes make up and hair! I could go on and on swooning over this but I will let you enjoy them. :) xXx
